Undergraduate Admissions Information
Rochester University offers undergraduate degree programs in a broad cross-section of disciplines. Please refer to the information below in order to ensure that your application is complete and that all requirements are met so as to ensure that we can process your application as quickly as possible.
How to Apply
For an application to Rochester University to be considered complete, applicants must submit the following items:
1 | Choose Your Application Method
These can be requested from the Admissions Office
2 | Official Test Scores
The Covid-19 pandemic has prevented many prospective students from taking standardized tests, including the ACT and SAT exams. In order to best serve prospective students applying to Rochester University for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years, we are temporarily waiving the submission of standardized test scores as a requirement for applicants.
We want to reassure students unable to submit standardized test scores that they will not be disadvantaged in the admissions process. Our admissions review process has always considered a student’s academic performance in high school as an indicator of his or her ability to succeed at RU. Please note that while standardized tests will not be required for admission and scholarship consideration, an Accuplacer test may be required to determine placement for English and Math.
Students who have a qualifying GPA will still be eligible for academic scholarships at Rochester University. The tables below define how academic scholarships will be determined.
