HGTV hosts to speak at Rochester Christian University’s 50th Partnership Dinner

Presented by Chief Financial Credit Union, Rochester Christian University’s 2021 Partnership Dinner will feature a live, virtual conversation with Ben and Erin Napier, hosts of HGTV’s “Home Town” television show, on Saturday, April 17, at 5:30 p.m.

The Partnership Dinner is an annual event that generates funds for student scholarships. The 2021 dinner will celebrate the event’s 50th year and RU’s 60th anniversary.

“Giving back and encouraging others to donate to student scholarships symbolizes our commitment to student learning, financial empowerment, and to the greater Rochester area community,” said Chief Financial Credit Union President and CEO, Tom Dluzen. Chief Financial is the official credit union of Rochester College.

Hosted by Detroit TV and radio personality Chuck Gaidica, the event will feature a live Q&A with the Napiers, who will discuss their creativity and passion for restoring homes in their hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. They will also talk about their support for education and the way their faith influences their work and lives.

“Although the event will be online because of safety precautions related to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are excited to join together virtually to raise funds for students so that RU can continue educating young people for a life of service,” said Steve Moore, RU vice president of development and alumni relations.

Tickets for the event are $150 with discounts for students and alumni. A variety of sponsorships are also available for purchase. For more information, go to rochesterU.edu/PD.
