The Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce has nominated two Rochester University employees for its 2020 Silver & Gold Awards.

Dr. Remylin Bruder, RU provost and professor of nursing, is nominated for the Beaumont Health Excellence in Health Care Award. This award honors an individual who demonstrates leadership, innovation and excellence in the health care field.

Jennifer Porter, director of development, is nominated for the DBusiness Magazine Emerging Leader Award, which is presented to an individual who stands out as a leader among peers 35 and younger.

The Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce will recognize these individuals and reveal the winners at the annual Silver & Gold Awards on Dec. 7 in a live virtual broadcast event from 10 a.m. to noon. The program honors business leaders and companies in the areas of innovation, leadership and community involvement. It also recognizes volunteers and supporters of the Auburn Hills Chamber.
