Dr. Hachem is a graduate of the College of Engineering & Computer Science at Colorado Technical University with a Doctor of Computer Science (DCS) with a concentration in Digital Systems Security. He obtained his Master of Science in Information Resource Management (IRM), from Central Michigan University, a master in Mathematics from Gaston Berger University, St. Louis, Senegal and his Bachelor in Applied Mathematics from The University of Sciences and Technologies – Noukachott – Mauritania. Dr. Hachem owns his own consulting firm where he and his team provides technology consultation, IT and Network Security Services, Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Ethical Hacking, IT Auditing Services, general IT consulting and Systems Integration Services, Implementation, Management, Support, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Governance Risk and Compliance and Service Management, and application development services, etc… for businesses and organizations with 5 and 500 employees in the Metro-Detroit land area. Dr. Hachem worked in the IT industry for 20 years before joining RU, he’s last full time position was Director or IT an IT consulting firm in the Metro-Detroit areas; he was in charge of a team of 26 engineers providing services to businesses  in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin. His expertise include but is not limited to, programming (software, web development), physical security, database, management, computer networking, software, hardware, ethical hacking and much more. His research interests are Cyber Security, Systems Engineering, Homeland Security, Information Assurance (IA), Software Assurance, Diversity & Inclusion, Business Management, Technology Innovation, and Program Management.
