Personal

Dr. Linda Park began her career as a classroom teacher in grades 2 through middle school and, eventually, served as a building principal. She has professional and research interests in preparing pre- and in-service teachers to be highly effective educators of literacy in K-12 schools. Linda is married to David Park, CFO at Rochester College, and enjoys reading, listening to music of all genres, watching sports, nature walks, and anything related to animals. She and David share a home with five special Chartreux cats, Lucy, (T.S.) Eliot, Ezra (Pound), The Great Gatsby, and Harper Lee, whom they show at regional cat shows.
