Dr. Baumann’s vocation is not only nursing but also mentoring future generation of nurses: “RU is allowing me to give back to the community and population what I have gained from the amazing faculty and mentors during my educational journey.”

Dr. Baumann is an acute care nurse practitioner at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. She specializes in General Surgery, with special training in DaVinci Robotic Surgery. Her interests include health care research, quality improvement, and ethics. She completed Clinical Bioethics Certification at Harvard University in 2016. She also serves as a Counselor of the local Theta Psi- at large Chapter with Sigma, which was established in partnership with Oakland University in 2018 by Dr. Erin Kennedy.
