  • Education – Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Rochester College.   Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling/Marriage and Family, Liberty University
  • What do you do in your job? I advise new students in their first semester at Rochester College helping them to plan their classes and begin to consider what direction they plan to go in their lives. I also work with outside groups to plan job fairs and provide students and alumni with information in relation to employment opportunities both while they are in college and once they graduate.
  • Hobbies/favorite things to do – I love to hang out with my husband and kids, both at our home in Romeo and also at our little cottage at Higgins Lake.  I also like to watch college football, boating, reading, listening to great music, hosting brunches and dinner parties, growing flowers and herbs, going for walks, Netflix, and hibernating in the winter!
  • Top 3-5 Books
    • Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
    • The Strong Willed Child by Dr. James Dobson
    • One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp
    • anything by Patricia Cornwall, John Grisham, and James Patterson.
  • Most influential person/hero – My husband is my hero and my mainstay.
  • Why are you at RC? I was a non-traditionally aged student in the traditional program from 2008-2012 and went straight on to grad school after graduation.  After I completed my masters program in 2014 I started looking for jobs at RC because I wanted to work in this community.  Rochester College is a special place and I really wanted to work here; the students make my work so much fun!
  • Favorite food – Mediterranean food and avocados!
  • Most embarrassing moment – When I accidentally texted Dean Cain thinking she was a friend.  It was not something I’d want to tell my boss!
  • TV show character you most relate to – Kristina Braverman from Parenthood.
  • Life theme song -These are the Days by Van Morrison, and Heavenly Day by Patty Griffin
  • Who would play you in your bio-pic? – Tina Fey
  • If you weren’t at work, what would you be caught doing on a sunny day? – On my boat!
  • What is one food habit you wish you could kick? – Fries
  • What are 5 things you’re most thankful for right now?
    • My health
    • My husband
    • My kids
    • My friends
    • Laughter
  • If you could ask God 1-3 questions, what would they be? My earthly questions are numerous; however, I’m pretty sure that when I get to see God, all of the questions will become unimportant in light of His glory.
  • What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?  Life entering and exiting the world.
  • Favorite spot on campus?  My office! 🙂
