Rochester University administers a survey among all bachelor’s degree graduates beginning six months after each commencement. The survey is based upon guidelines provided by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. The survey assesses primary activity after graduation, relationship of employment to field of study, preparation for graduate work, and student experience at Rochester University.
First Destination Activity
In addition to the graduate survey, Rochester University collects data from follow-up emails, employees, LinkedIn, and other sources to obtain a fuller picture of alumni first destination activity. As defined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, this knowledge rate is used to illustrate the primary first destination activity of graduates. The data below is based upon a 85% knowledge rate among the 2018-19 bachelor’s degree graduates.

Knowledge rate information on graduates is also used to illustrate the relationship of employment to a former student’s field of study. The data below is based upon a 85% knowledge rate among the 2018-19 bachelor’s degree graduates.
