London Theatre Trip

The RCU Theatre & Music Department leads an annual summer trip to London to see professional theater productions, visit historic landmarks, and explore the city. During this ten-day trip, you’ll enjoy eight professional theatre productions from the Globe Theatre (famously recreated from the Shakespearian era), the Royal Shakespeare Company, and London’s renowned West End, among others.

During the day, you can explore museums, cathedrals, castles, and monuments such as Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. You can visit memorials to some of history’s most famous writers and artists, see the historic Tower of London, and watch a street performer or two along the way. Explore the London metropolitan area and sample amazing food while relaxing in rooftop gardens or along the River Thames; ride the London Eye, or brave the London Bridge Experience haunted house. And no visit to London would be complete without a tour of the city on a double-decker bus.

Though led by Theatre staff and faculty, this trip is not limited only to theatre students. If you have the desire to see and experience life and culture in one of the world’s greatest cities, this trip is for you!
