To provide accessible, relevant and affordable theatre to a modern audience, allowing them to uncover the light, the dark and the true beauty of the human story.

Relationship with RCU Theatre

Rochester Christian University is one of the few institutions of higher learning in the country to own and operate a professional theatre company in which students participate in all aspects of theatre while working toward their bachelor’s degree. UnCovered Theatre Company members work alongside RCU Theatre students as actors in co-productions, professional mentors for student interns, and professors, designers or directors in the college’s academic program. The unique partnership allows Rochester Christian University Theatre to rival much larger colleges and universities in both quantity and quality of performance and program offerings, yet still offer the benefits of the close-knit Christian learning community. The UnCovered Theatre Mission Statement is “To offer hope, shed light on the human condition, and uncover goodness, truth and beauty through our art.”
