If you are a high school student and you’ve never attended college before, you’ll need:

1. A 2.25-2.49 GPA to qualify for conditional admission (or 680 on the GED with no individual score below 170)

Students who fall below the listed requirements might qualify to join Rochester Christian University in the Fall Semester under our Warriors Thrive program. Contact admissions@rochesteru.edu for more information!

2. A 2.50 GPA to qualify for unconditional admission

Transfer students are unconditionally admitted with a GPA of 2.25 or higher

Standardized tests, including the ACT and SAT exams, are now optional. Depending on test score(s), students can qualify for more scholarships with an ACT/SAT score of 25/1200 or higher.

Our admissions review process has always considered a student’s academic performance in high school as an indicator of his or her ability to succeed at RCU. Please note that while standardized tests will not be required for admission and scholarship consideration, an Accuplacer test may be required to determine placement for English and Math.

Students who have a qualifying GPA will still be eligible for academic scholarships at Rochester Christian University.
